Suffolk House is a restored early-1800s Georgian mansion in George Town — Malaysia's only surviving Georgian mansion, and a 2008 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Award winner for its restoration. Weddings can use the ground-floor marble hall, the first-floor ballroom (up to 150 guests) with its verandah over the rain trees, or the north and west gardens. The kitchen is pork-free, run by executive chef Mathijs Nanne, with set menus, degustation, and buffet options; the venue also connects couples to its own network of decorators, musicians, and AV crews. Private room minimum spend starts from RM1,200 (lunch) to RM2,000 (dinner), plus service charge and tax.
